Hearts Card Game is a classic strategy card game where players avoid penalty cards, outsmart opponents, and compete to finish with the lowest score.

Hearts Card Game - Attractive strategy card game

A new card game different from Gin Rummy Plus, a game for 4 players, featuring deep elements and a reverse gameplay: your goal is not to score points strategically, but to avoid receiving penalty cards. The deck consists of 52 cards, and each player receives 13 cards.

Basic rules

The game takes place in several rounds (tricks). In each round, one card is played in turn; whoever plays the highest card of the same suit will "take" all the cards in that round. However, unlike many other games, in Hearts, players do not want to take rounds containing:

  • Each Spade card counts as 1 penalty point
  • The Queen of Spades counts as 13 points, which is the most severe penalty card.
  • The total penalty points in each round is 26, and points continue to be added until a player has been penalized over 100 points or the player with the fewest points wins.

Strategy and special points

This is not simply a game of chance; it requires players to calculate their moves, remember the cards they have played, and distract their opponents. An advanced strategy called Shoot the Moon, where the player intentionally eats all the penalty cards, causing all opponents to receive 26 points instead of them. This can be a spectacular reversal if you have a strategy.

Conclusion

Hearts Card Game is a very intellectual card game, suitable for both recreational play and serious competition. Despite its simple rules, the game opens up countless attractive strategic situations, requiring you to be alert and think about every move.
