The story of Solitaire Crime Stories

Play as Lana Whitt, a young, energetic and enthusiastic journalist, who arrives in the small town of Springdale to write an investigative story about an unsolved murder. However, as soon as she arrives, Lana is quickly drawn into a series of mysterious events, with conspiracies and secrets intertwined among the town's residents.

The story is increasingly revealed

Take turns choosing cards that are higher or lower than the current card to clear the board. Each level represents a step in the investigation, such as examining the scene, collecting clues, or interrogating suspects. Complete the games within the turn or time limit.

Gameplay isn't just about solving cards, but rather each card corresponds to a specific action in the investigation: unlocking the evidence room, investigating the crime scene, deciphering the diary, or talking to the suspect. When you complete a level, you'll open up a new part of the story, with voice-over dialogue, hand-drawn character illustrations, and choices that can influence what happens next.

Small-town setting filled with mysteries

The town of Springdale initially seems peaceful and monotonous, but as you delve deeper into the investigation, you'll realize that this is a place where many dark secrets are buried. Move through different locations on the map, each of which is a piece of the overall picture of the case.

You'll explore:

  • Crime scene: the first place where a suspicious death occurred, with blood stains, footprints, and strange objects.
  • The police station: where you work with Bill to check the forensic reports and suspect files.
  • The morgue: where you talk to the forensics to find the cause of death.
  • The local pizza parlor, gas station, bar: where you meet characters who are unwittingly involved in the case, each with their own motives.
  • The abandoned house, the mansion's backyard, the woods next to the town: where the most important pieces of the puzzle are revealed.
