Upgraded version, double the challenge!

The goal of the game

Move all the cards from the 12 Tableau spaces to the 8 Foundation spaces, arranged from A to K, to complete the game.

Detailed instructions

  • Foundations (8 piles on top): Each suit has 2 piles, where you must build a sequence of cards from A to K.
  • Tableau (12 columns below): The main working area contains random cards. You can move cards to the Foundations in ascending order and cards in the Tableau in descending order.
  • Stockpile (draw pile in the middle of the table): Draw only once, no loops. This requires players to calculate each draw carefully.

Survival strategy

This game requires a sharp strategy rather than luck. With only one Stockpile to draw and 8 Foundation piles to complete, players need to prioritize opening the face-down cards in the Tableau before rushing to the Foundation.

Keep the low cards if they are still useful to move the chain or unlock another column. Take advantage of the empty column as a temporary tactical storage to rotate cards flexibly.

Every move has a big impact on the outcome, so observing the entire board before acting is the key to a rare but satisfying victory.

If you find traditional Solitaire like Medieval Solitaire too easy, Napoleon is the challenge you are looking for. A familiar yet strange card game that will have you hooked from the first game!
