An expanded Solitaire strategy game

If you love classic Solitaire games but are looking for a more challenging version, this game is the perfect choice for you. The game is an expanded version of Klondike like Klondike Solitaire 4 Suits, with the unique feature of using two decks of cards instead of one.

Double Klondike game details

Basic rules

Arrange all 104 cards into eight foundation piles, each pile by suit and in ascending order from A to K. Players will operate mainly on the tableau, using the same principles as traditional Solitaire: arranging cards in descending order, alternating colors, and making the most of face-down cards to expand their options.

  • Tableau: Consists of 9 columns, each with a part of the cards face down and a final face-up card.
  • Foundation: There are 8 positions, each position will contain cards of the same suit from A to K.
  • Stock: Where you draw more cards if you have no more moves.
  • Waste: Contains cards that have been drawn but not used.

Effective strategies and tips

Double Klondike is not only a game of chance but also requires calculation and reasonable arrangement. Here are a few tips to help you play more effectively:

  • Always try to turn over the face-down cards as soon as possible; each face-up card opens up many ways to move.
  • Think carefully when using cards from the reserve pile, especially when you have little space on the table.
  • Always keep the K to open the empty column, but prioritize using the K of the color less on the table.
  • Don't rush to move cards to the base pile too soon; keep some cards that can help with the sequences in the tableau.
