About Clock Solitaire

This is a variation of the solitaire card game in which the cards are arranged in the shape of a clock face. The game requires no special skills and relies heavily on luck, making each game unique and fun.

How to Play

Preparation

Use a standard deck of 52 cards.

Shuffle the cards and divide them into 13 piles, each with 4 cards face down.

Arrange the 12 piles in a circle corresponding to the positions from 1 to 12 o'clock on the clock face.

The 13th pile is placed in the center, representing the King position.

Rules

Start by turning over the top card of the center pile.

Move this card, face up, to the pile corresponding to its value:

Ace = 1 o'clock

2 to 10 = 2 to 10 o'clock

Jack = 11 o'clock

Queen = 12 o'clock

King = center pile

Turn over the top card of the pile you just placed and repeat the process.

The game ends when:

All cards are turned over, which is a win.

A fourth King turned over before all the other cards are turned over is a loss.

Objective of the game

The objective is to turn over all 52 cards before turning over the fourth King. You lose if you turn over the fourth King before all the other cards are turned over.

Probability of Winning in Clock Solitaire

This game depends entirely on luck, with a winning probability of only about 8%. You lose if you turn over all 4 kings before turning over all the other cards. There is no specific strategy to increase your chances of winning, which makes each game full of surprises and drama. It is this unpredictability and challenge that make the game so attractive and worth trying.

This version is all about luck and not strategy, unlike Freecell Solitaire Free, so if you want to try a new version of Solitaire, don't miss it.
